Computers, software, and the internet have morphed from a "thing you do in your living room", into a comically ubiquitous part of daily life. Computers are now a radical monopoly.
The shape and character of the internet has morphed from something created by inspired hobbyists, into something dominated by the largest corporations on the planet.
The tech companies which now shape the internet have moved past casting themselves as the Good Guys, into organizations that, perhaps, may not have their user's, or anyone's, best interest at heart.
So we refuse to cede computers to companies determined to invent the Torment Nexus. Lets use computers wisely and independently, lets help our community become independent from big tech.
